Job description

Are you someone who is passionate about how we care for the most vulnerable people in society?

Our Community Service Centre in Oxfordshire is currently looking for a new Community Equipment Technician to join our small, friendly team. NRS Healthcare is the UK’s leading provider of Community Equipment Services, delivering complete end-to-end services through all stages of equipment provision and recycling within the healthcare sector.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who can help us in our mission to improve people’s quality of life and independence every day. Our services allow people to remain in their homes, preventing the need for them to stay in hospital for any longer than is necessary, allowing the NHS to deliver frontline care where it is needed most.

Our Community Equipment Technicians are a pivotal part of the success of the service we provide. From delivering equipment to providing installations, your role will be varied, ensuring our service users receive the help they need at the time they need it most.

Working 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, you will install equipment, service existing equipment, and collect items no longer required.

Our Service Centre is located in Oxford, and you will be routed around Oxfordshire. You will have the option to keep your vehicle outside of office hours, with daily visits to the Service Centre required for restocking purposes.

Experience working with and installing healthcare equipment would be advantageous, and a Driving License is required for the role.

Most importantly, you'll have the necessary care and compassion required to ensure our service users receive a welcoming, friendly face in their hours of need.

Full product and other training will be provided as part of this role.

We offer competitive salaries, full training and development for your role, as well as a wide range of benefits:

  • 33 days annual holiday inclusive of bank holidays (rising 1 day per year after 3 years to a maximum of 38 days)
  • Pension Scheme and Life Assurance
  • Exclusive employee discounts, savings and competitions

Please note that if you are NOT a passport holder of the country for the vacancy you might need a work permit.
