Job description

A leading manufacturer and distributor of insulated glass consumables to the glazing industry, and part of a multi-national group of companies, is recruiting a Class 2 (category C) driver to join their team.

They really take care of employees, which is recognised with their Investors in People certification. Full in-house product training is provided.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

1. Recent experience as a Class 2 (C) driver
2. Minimum age of 25 due to insurance requirements
3. Maximum 6 points on license with no major endorsements (DD, DR, IN)
4. Drivers must possess a digital tachograph card and a valid DQC (driver qualification card), CPC certified
5. A good geographical knowledge of the UK road network
6. Have a positive attitude and a professional manner
7. Be attentive to customer service and company representation
8. Be physically active due to the nature of the position, which will include lifting
9. Flexibility to drive a Van or up to Class 2 18T with sleeper cab
10. A good level of spoken English

SALARY & BENEFITS:

1. £16.24 per hour
