Driver Class 1

Pay Rate: £32, 934.92 (£15.08 per hour) + overtime premium

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 42 hours per week, 4 on 4 off, start times available between 3am and 7am

Location: Prudhoe, NE42 6PL

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Class 1 driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

1. Curtain sider work and swapping trailers required
2. Trunking stock to RDC's with collections back to site
3. Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
4. Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

1. A valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
2. Ideally will have 6 months recent Class 1 driving experience
