Pay Rate: £38,914.43
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday starting between 5am-7am
Location: Hebburn - NE31 1SP

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Class 1 dray driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

1. Multi-drop delivery of alcoholic products into pubs and restaurants
2. Working with a drivers mate to unload and deliver into the customers' premises
3. Manually unloading and lifting kegs of beer and other beverages
4. Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
5. Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

We'd love to hear from you if you have the following experience but don't hesitate to apply if you don't tick every box on this page - we're great at spotting talent and potential in everyone:

1. You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
2. You will have at least 6 months recent Class 1 driving experience
3. You must be happy working in a highly physical role
