Drama Teacher – Inspire the Next Generation!

Location: Middlesbrough
Pay Rate: £150 - £220 per day (Dependent on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

Are you a passionate Drama Teacher looking to ignite creativity and confidence in young performers?

GSL Education are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Drama Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive school in Middlesbrough. If you love theatre, performance, and storytelling and want to inspire students through drama, this is the perfect role for you!

Your Role as a Drama Teacher:

  1. Deliver engaging and creative Drama lessons across all Key Stages.
  2. Inspire students to develop their acting skills and confidence on stage.
  3. Lead school productions, assemblies, and drama clubs.
  4. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their performance.
  5. Foster an inclusive and inspiring classroom environment.
  6. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the drama curriculum.
  7. Keep accurate records of student progress and participation.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  2. ️ Experience teaching Drama across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  3. ️ A passion for the performing arts and a flair for inspiring students.
  4. ️ Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  5. ️ Excellent communication skills to engage and motivate learners.
  6. ️ An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
