Job Title: Drama Teacher

Location: Lincoln

Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (Depending on experience)

Start: After Easter 2025

Contract: Full – Time

A dynamic and creative secondary school in Lincoln is seeking a passionate and engaging Drama Teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who believes in the power of the performing arts to build confidence, creativity, and collaboration in young people.

Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For:

  1. Teach Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging, interactive lessons.
  2. Develop and implement creative schemes of work that encourage student participation.
  3. Prepare students for assessments, performances, and practical examinations.
  4. Foster a love of drama and theatre, encouraging self-expression and teamwork.
  5. Contribute to whole-school events, productions, and enrichment activities.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  2. Strong subject knowledge and passion for performing arts.
  3. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  4. Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
  5. A creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
  6. Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
