Are you a qualified and passionate Drama teacher based in Coalville?


This position is full time and commences the 28th April till summer. The school I am recruiting for are looking for a Drama teacher who would like to join an already successful team who have a reputation for providing high quality education for students of various abilities. The school are looking for a gifted Drama teacher who can maintain high levels of learning and creativity. The successful candidate would be expected to deliver high quality lessons. Motivating students to strive to success and maintaining a healthy learning environment is an essential part of this position.


The school we are recruiting for is accessible by public transport. The school was recently rated 'Good' by Ofsted, they pride themselves on providing equal opportunities for all students whilst maintaining the highest standards of education to suit each individual need. They offer a broad curriculum whilst encouraging and supporting pupil's interest in learning.


As a Drama teacher, the school will expect the following:

  1. Teach drama to KS3 & KS4 level.
  2. Have a detailed knowledge of the curriculum.
  3. Have high standards of communication and the ability to work as a team.
  4. Assess, mark and plan lessons.
  5. Assess achievements of pupils.

To be considered for this position, you will need to have the following:

  1. UK QTS
  2. Relevant teaching experience across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 is beneficial)
  3. An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
  4. Excellent communication skills and commitment to working as part of a team.
