Drainage Design Civil Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Airport Civil Engineer with Drainage Design experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing airport infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, and aprons with extensive experience in drainage design.

Responsibilities:

1. Grading and drainage design of airport infrastructure including runways, taxiways, aircraft parking aprons, roads, and auto parking lots.
2. Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for airport projects.
3. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and standards related to airport design.
4. Mentoring of junior staff.
5. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate design recommendations to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
6. Occasional site visits.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
2. Massachusetts Professional Engineer (PE) license.
3. Minimum of 10 years of design experience including drainage design, preferably for airport infrastructure projects.
4. Proficient using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydro CAD (or similar drainage software).
5. Experience with MassDEP stormwater standards.
6. Familiarity with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) design standards and regulations related to airport drainage.
7. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. Project Management is a plus.
10. Must be highly motivated and detail-oriented.
11. Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
