Job description
This position provides day-to-day DR Pre-Sales Delivery and Application Support Services on Agfa Radiology Solutions.
As a DR Pre-Sales Consultant / DR Applications Specialist, you will support the UK Radiology Solutions Sales & Service Team by providing and delivering presentations, technical information, and recommended configurations to customers for Agfa Imaging Products & Services. Actively promote Agfa’s DR product portfolio to existing and new customers to gain sales.
Give Applications support, training and “Go-Live” support, and provide customer and sales team classroom training on Agfa’s Imaging Products as required. The role will also include customised DR configurations, problem-solving and image quality issues.
JOB DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Liaise with Key Account Managers to create and execute a strategic account plan for DR Sales
Act as single point of contact to DR customer projects base for Agfa products & services
Accompany prospective DR customers from first contact to closing of contract
Qualify potential DR accounts
Manage customer relationship
Negotiate with customers
Negotiation of service contracts
Explain and demonstrate the sold products/solutions and think strategically with the customer
Coordinate and control sales processes
Assist the service manager during proposal & negotiation phase for SLA’s
Configure and customise Product / Solution
Manage customer expectations; request and control of customer’s obligation to cooperate
Fault evaluation and finding for Product / Solution and follow-up
Discuss Product / Solution options, choices and solutions with the customer and third parties
Analyse customer-specific requirements (e.g. workflows) in line with customer contract specifications/statement of work
Draw-up training and implementation concepts
Train customers and Agfa employees
Pass on up-selling opportunities to sales
Respect project budget to obtain billable days
Document/communicate according to project guidelines (e.g. status, concepts)
REQUIREMENTS:
Radiographic Degree
High flexibility and willingness to travel often, driving licence
Extensive knowledge in the areas of direct radiography, fluoroscopy and other imaging areas
Safe implementation, application and interpretation of legal requirements, guidelines and standards in radiology
Good knowledge of dealing with relevant PC software and a high level of interest in computer systems and interfaces in radiology
Sensitivity and sense of responsibility in contact with customers and patients
Training capabilities and strong communication skills
Able to establish and build strong customer relationships
Business oriented
Active in a radiology department is an advantage
