Dove International

Includes all countries but North America and it's a PC business of 1.7b₠ across Deos and Skin Cleansing with the biggest markets being Europe and LatAm, expectation is for Dove International to be one of the highest growth engines in Personal Care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Finance Manager is a member of the Global Brands Finance Leadership Team and partners the Global Brand Vice President (GBVP) for Dove International and other functions (Supply Chain, CMI and R&D) to develop, execute and monitor both brand and category strategies, including all parts of the brand mix. This role will focus on business partnering Dove across all regions but North America across both Deos and Skin Cleansing. It will be an "agile" member of the relevant Brand Finance team and may stretch across other brands and cluster projects within PC when relevant. The role will directly manage one or more individual contributors depending on the projects.

  1. Commercially shape the medium to long term direction of the brand and category.
  2. Performance analysis and management to ensure delivery of targets.
  3. Category Innovation Plan (CIP) budget management.
  4. Partner with Marketers to ensure compliance against key metrics to optimize Return On Marketing Investment.
  5. Develop innovations business cases, monitor innovation performance (including the completion of Post-Launch Evaluations) and ensure pro-active and effective corrective actions are taken, as required.
  6. Dynamic resource allocation to drive category growth and priorities.
  7. PC innovation analysis and management to ensure innovation performance delivers FGM through topline and margin.

Experiences & Qualifications
  1. Preferred 8+ years of experience in financial, operational, and business partnering roles preferably local or global category supporting Marketing, SC or CD.
  2. Experience of working in cross functional teams within a matrix environment desirable.
  3. Experience partnering major internal customers.

  1. Good awareness and understanding of Unilever priorities and strong business acumen.
  2. Strong analytical skills, as well as critical thinking & decision support - working collaboratively as well as working independently with business through communication and influencing the teams.
  3. Growth mindset and bias for action.
