Domiciliary Care Worker (with Sponsorship)

Position: Domiciliary Care Worker (Male / Female)

Location: Hersham, Surrey, UK

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate female domiciliary care workers to join our Clients team in the Surrey area. The role involves providing high-quality personal care and support to clients in their own homes. Candidates must have a valid driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support with toileting needs and continence management.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor health conditions.
  • Report any changes in health to a supervisor or healthcare professional.
  • Help clients with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment.
  • Accompany clients to appointments or social activities.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Ensure the home environment is safe and comfortable.
  • Provide companionship and engage in conversation to alleviate loneliness.
  • Support clients' mental and emotional well-being through active listening and encouragement.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client's condition.
  • Complete daily logs and report to the supervisor as required.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Attend regular training sessions and stay updated with best practices in care.

Requirements:

  • Valid driving licence and access to a car.
  • Must have experience in domiciliary care within the UK.
