Job description

The Sureserve Group of businesses provides market-leading compliance and energy services across the UK, with over 3,200 employees working from over 20 offices.

Sureserve Compliance South delivers heating services within the social housing sector across London & the South East. We support our clients across domestic gas, commercial gas, renewables, and electrical services. We are London’s largest, most successful gas contractor, focusing on long-term contracts with our clients to offer our staff job security and progression opportunities.

Role
  • To risk assess work/working environments before starting any works to avoid damages or injuries, and undertake all work in accordance with Health & Safety and The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations (GSIUR) 1998.
  • To identify materials and parts required to carry out repairs to the set company standard. To record accurate logs of work undertaken and materials used capturing this on the company’s PDA / I.T system.
  • If further works are required, to liaise with procurement & admin teams then inform residents of timescale for completion of the work being undertaken.
  • To manage, control and be responsible for allocated van stock ensuring levels are kept as necessary.
  • Be prepared to work flexibly with the possibility of work outside normal working hours depending on the needs of the business.
  • Carry out your daily tasks in a helpful and professional approach prioritising customer service.
  • To report any vulnerabilities or concerns to management via our internal system so it can be addressed and reported back to the appropriate client.
  • To keep your allocated company vehicle clean and tidy at all times, always wear correct uniform and dispose of any waste to company/HSE regulations.
The successful candidate will have
  • Level 2 plumbing qualification or equivalent.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (6 points or less).
  • Experience within Social Housing desirable, but not essential.
  • Experience delivering high levels of customer service.
  • The ability to work with a diverse customer base.
