Domestic Gas Engineer

Our Client

Our client is a well-known heating contractor that provides installations, servicing, and maintenance for gas and central heating systems within domestic and commercial markets, with work spanning across the UK. They turnover over £250m a year, maintain over 160,000 homes, and currently employ over 3000 members of staff. They currently require a Domestic Service and Breakdown Gas Engineer to join their expanding team around the Leeds area.

Domestic Gas Engineer Description

1. Domestic Gas Service and Repair Engineers will cover Domestic central heating system service, maintenance, and repair.
2. The Domestic Gas Breakdown Engineer will be required to cover a call out rota attending breakdowns.
3. Carry out landlord safety certificates.
4. Engineers are required to work within Domestic social housing sites across the LS postcode area.

Domestic Gas Engineer Requirements

The successful candidate must be willing to travel throughout Leeds and surrounding areas, hold a full UK driving licence, and the following qualifications:

1. Domestic Gas Safe / ACS Domestic (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1)
2. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing and Heating
3. Based within a commutable distance of the UH postcode area

Domestic Gas Engineer Remuneration

- Salary: £34,000 - £41,000 (OTE £42k+)
- Bonus system
