Are you ready to make a real difference every day? We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Housekeeper / Domestic Assistant to join our team at Sodexo in North Devon Hospital. In this vital role, you’ll help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors at our hospital.

What you’ll do:
  • Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by maintaining cleanliness in patient rooms, wards, communal areas, restrooms, and other hospital spaces.
  • Prepare patient areas with care by stripping and cleaning beds, as well as collecting and replacing linen.
  • Maintain high hygiene standards by cleaning desks, walls, ceilings, vents, blinds, and other surfaces to promote a sterile environment.
  • Keep floors spotless by dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, and polishing, while also restocking essential supplies.
  • Manage waste effectively by emptying bins and disposing of waste safely and responsibly.
  • Be a champion of health and safety, ensuring a clean, welcoming, and hazard-free space for patients, visitors, and staff.
