About the Document Controller Role:

We're seeking a highly organised and proactive Document Controller to support the Operations Department for a building and construction company in managing key project and operational work-flows on site. This role is crucial to maintaining document accuracy, project compliance, and supporting effective communication across the project team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage site documentation including training matrices, QA trackers, technical/drawing submissions, and project reports.
  • Upload and track RFIs, NCEs, EWNs, and other key documents.
  • Support project meetings by taking and distributing minutes.
  • Organise the site office and displays, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Liaise with project and commercial teams to support timely and accurate document flow.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong organisation and planning skills with a "can-do" attitude.
  • Effective communicator able to engage with both site and client teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe.
  • Knowledge of construction industry processes is beneficial (e.g. JCT contracts, drywall design).
  • Familiarity with platforms like ACONEX, Datascope, and Smart Waste is desirable.
