About The Document Controller Role

We're seeking a highly organised and proactive Document Controller to support the Operations Department for a building and construction company in managing key project and operational work-flows on site. This role is crucial to maintaining document accuracy, project compliance, and supporting effective communication across the project team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and manage site documentation including training matrices, QA trackers, technical/drawing submissions, and project reports.
  2. Upload and track RFIs, NCEs, EWNs, and other key documents.
  3. Support project meetings by taking and distributing minutes.
  4. Organise the site office and displays, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  5. Liaise with project and commercial teams to support timely and accurate document flow.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  1. Strong organisation and planning skills with a "can-do" attitude.
  2. Effective communicator able to engage with both site and client teams.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe.
  4. Knowledge of construction industry processes is beneficial (e.g. JCT contracts, drywall design).
  5. Familiarity with platforms like ACONEX, Datascope, and Smart Waste is desirable.
