Divisional Chief Executive Officer | Healthcare Analytics & Software | London/Hybrid

The Client

A leading provider of research and analytics serving public and private healthcare organizations, as well as central government. The company delivers data-driven insights and software solutions that support decision-making and drive efficiency. As part of a US-based parent company with a strong international presence, the organization is looking for a strategic leader to drive the next phase of growth in its UK operations.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead the UK division of an established healthcare analytics business, shaping its strategy and expanding its reach. The CEO will be responsible for defining and executing a growth plan, strengthening the company’s position in the market, and identifying opportunities to enhance its research, analytics, and software offerings.

The role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in data-driven businesses, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. The CEO will oversee the development of new market opportunities, foster collaboration across business units, and ensure the company remains at the forefront of healthcare analytics.

Based in London, this role will involve some international travel, including engagement with the US-based parent company.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and drive the organization’s growth strategy, identifying opportunities to expand its research and analytics offerings across public and private healthcare and central government.
  2. Strengthen collaboration across business units to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall impact.
  3. Oversee financial performance, working closely with finance leaders to ensure sustainability and profitability.
  4. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders in healthcare and government.
  6. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality services.
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and manage risks proactively.

Requirements (Essential)

  1. Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
  2. Proven experience in managing a data-driven or software-based business.
  3. Strong background in healthcare data management and utilization.
  4. Expertise in developing and executing growth strategies.
  5. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
  6. Experience leading complex commercial negotiations within the public sector.
  7. Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  8. Experience managing revenues greater than £25m.

Requirements (Non-Essential)

  1. Experience working with public sector, healthcare bodies, and policymakers.
  2. Previous experience in expanding software products or services into new markets.
  3. Experience leading (or being in the room for) M&A activity.

Salary: £170k-£220k + bonus + equity

Location: London (Hybrid)
