Caterpillar is searching for an experienced Division Manager- Risk & Compliance to join our Building Construction Products Division (BCP). This role will lead our compliance team, establish effective compliance programs to help drive a compliance culture, reinforce our Values in Action, and ensure the enterprise is “Winning The Right Way.” If you have a passion for leadership, business ethics, and strategic planning, we encourage you to apply.
What You Will Do:
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance and ethics initiatives of the division and provide guidance for the management team on matters relating to compliance.
- Lead and/or assist with the identification of relevant compliance issues within the organization in terms of both applicable policies and procedures and instances where adherence to those policies and procedures may be compromised.
- Develop, initiate, and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the division's compliance program and its related activities.
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; assist with developing corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
What You Have:
- Education/Experience: Finance/Business or other relevant degree and/or demonstrable career history of progressively responsible experience within outlined discipline.
- Relationship Management and Leadership: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers. Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing, and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
- Business Ethics and Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of practices, behaviors, applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing proper business conduct; ability to demonstrate ethical behavior in diverse situations. Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
- Issues/Risk Management and Remediation: Knowledge of techniques and processes for issues management and remediation; ability to identify any error or fault and correct them in a timely manner. Knowledge of processes, tools, and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Audit and Compliance (A&C) Function: Knowledge of major responsibilities and tasks of A&C function; ability to manage the operation of A&C function in various business environments.
Top Candidates will also have:
- Previous compliance program management experience.
- Capability to address a broad range of risk topics.
- Strong skills in teamwork, trust, transparency, relationship building, and leadership attributes.
- High integrity and good judgment required to deal with confidential issues.
- Influencing others across all levels of management to help take actions in driving a higher compliance culture.

Salary: £84,500-£100,000 depending on experience
