Job Description

Our client is a reputable international law firm considered to be one of the biggest Litigation and Arbitration law firms. They’re now seeking an organised and passionate Diversity & Inclusion Advisor to join their growing team in their London offices on a 9-12 month FTC basis.

The role of Diversity & Inclusion Advisor is to support the Diversity & Inclusion team in implementing the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Strategy across their global offices. This includes day-to-day organisation and coordination of Diversity & Inclusion activities, developing strong working relationships with members of the Diversity & Inclusion Committees, and acting as the ambassador for the Firm’s Diversity & Inclusion programme internally and externally.

Duties will include:

  • Working with the internal comms teams to maintain the global D&I comms plan, coordinate contributions from the international network, and look for opportunities to raise the profile of our D&I activities.
  • Supporting the delivery of key global D&I initiatives such as comms campaigns, training, and events.
  • Monitoring, recording, and tracking activities across the international offices on an ongoing basis for D&I, CSR, and pro bono, ensuring this is communicated through necessary channels such as newsletters, the intranet, and our website.
  • Collaborating with business development teams on tasks such as responding to D&I related client questions and coordinating award submissions.
  • Helping to ensure consistency across our global network of D&I activities, initiatives, and plans.
  • Supporting the firm’s networks with coordination and logistics.
  • Helping to compile global diversity data for reporting and analysis.
  • Handling day-to-day operational activities such as processing invoices, coordinating logistics for events, managing external memberships, preparing PowerPoint presentations, dealing with ad-hoc enquiries, and managing paperwork.

The Diversity & Inclusion Advisor will have a passion for diversity and inclusion and come from a role that requires coordination, organisation, and administration skills within a D&I capacity, preferably from a law firm or professional services background. The right candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills tailored to a diverse range of audiences, establish good working relationships, and approach situations in a professional, ethical, and confidential manner. The Diversity & Inclusion Advisor will also have the ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate resilience with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
