Our client, a prominent international law firm with an extensive global presence, is seeking a Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Cyber Practice. This role, based in London, offers an exceptional opportunity for a legal professional with 4+ years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) to be at the forefront of managing cyber risks for top-tier clients across a variety of sectors.

The team offers comprehensive advice across all stages of cyber risk, from readiness and response to recovery, and is consistently ranked highly in legal directories for its expertise in cyber law, technology, and data protection. The practice provides tailored, commercially-focused advice to a diverse range of international clients, including leading technology companies and multinational corporations.

The firm's Cyber Practice operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, working on cutting-edge issues involving global clients and the latest technologies. The team is recognised for its ability to navigate complex, multi-jurisdictional challenges and deliver strategic solutions that protect client interests.



The Role

As a Senior Associate in the Cyber Practice, you will collaborate closely with partners on a wide array of cyber-related matters, including:

  • Managing Cyber Security Incidents: Leading crisis management teams, engaging with attackers, instructing IT forensics, advising on regulatory notifications, and handling post-breach regulatory investigations.
  • Litigation: Handling litigation arising from cyber incidents, including managing disputes and defending against group litigation.
  • GDPR Compliance: Providing expert advice on GDPR applicability in international data breaches.
  • Client Relationships: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and third-party vendors, and supporting the firm's thought leadership in the cyber law space.
  • Business Development: Contributing to business development efforts to enhance the firm's profile in the cyber market.

This role demands a solicitor with robust litigation experience, ideally within technology and/or media disputes, and a genuine interest in the evolving field of cyber law.
