Job description

We are looking for a Part Time Dispensary Assistant to join our team in our Perrydown pharmacy in Beanhill, Milton Keynes.

The hours of this position will be 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 2pm to 6pm.

The Role Will Include:

  • Carry out dispensing duties under the supervision of the Pharmacist manager.
  • Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Respond appropriately to customer needs, politely and efficiently, by asking appropriate questions, following the Standard Operating Procedures for Sale of Medicines and Supporting Self-care.
  • Maintain the pharmacy to a high standard.
  • Monitor stock levels and adapt orders appropriately.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be qualified to NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services.
  • Have previous community pharmacy or retail experience.
  • Be willing to undertake the relevant training in Pharmacy Services if necessary.
  • Be able to deliver excellent customer service and work as part of a team.
