Purpose of the role:
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dispatch team, ensuring efficient and timely coordination of engineers/Partners. This role involves managing dispatch staff, optimising dispatch procedures, and maintaining effective communication with engineers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the dispatch team, including scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance to ensure high levels of productivity and morale.
- Oversee the dispatching of engineers/partners, ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently and in accordance with company policies and client requirements.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between dispatchers, engineers, clients, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and address any issues promptly.
- Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to dispatch activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Address and resolve operational challenges, including emergencies and delays, by coordinating with relevant personnel and deploying appropriate resources.
- Ensure accurate documentation of dispatch activities, quality assurance, and other relevant information for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Provide training and development opportunities for dispatch employees to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
Salary: £27,040 plus a discretionary bonus of up to £1,440.00 per annum on successful achievement of monthly KPIs.

The Individual:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, or a similar role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership position.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using dispatch software, GPS systems, and other relevant technology.
- Analytical skills to assess performance metrics and implement improvements.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
