Job description

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for operating within a digital environment, using Microsoft Dynamics NAV to manage and oversee key warehouse functions.
  • Support the efficient day-to-day running of the Dispatch department, playing a crucial role in ensuring that goods are picked, packed, and dispatched in a timely and accurate manner, minimizing delays and maintaining high service levels.
  • Completing a variety of operational and administrative tasks, including assigning picks to warehouse operatives to ensure an even distribution of workload and efficient order fulfillment, troubleshooting and resolving problematic orders, such as missing stock, system errors, or incorrect order data, and providing support to warehouse staff, offering guidance and technical help when issues arise with pick lists, scanning devices, or system updates.
  • Comprehensive on-the-job training will be given, including system use, process workflows, and best practices for managing dispatch tasks.
  • Previous experience in a computer-based or data-focused role is preferred. While not essential, candidates with a background in administrative, IT support, or warehouse system roles will be well-suited and able to adapt more quickly to the demands of the position.
