As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to students with disabilities. Your Key Responsibilities

1. Create an inclusive and welcoming classroom environment where every student feels valued.
2. Offer one-on-one or small group support to students with disabilities, helping them stay engaged and focused.
3. Assist students with their academic work, ensuring they can reach their potential and stay on track.
4. Encourage social and emotional development, helping students build confidence and independence.
5. Collaborate with teachers and staff to tailor support to meet individual student needs.
6. Assist with classroom management, ensuring a calm, safe, and productive learning environment.
7. Help with lesson preparation to ensure smooth daily operations and effective learning.

What You Need

1. Experience supporting students with disabilities.
2. A compassionate, patient approach to working with students.
3. Strong communication skills to work effectively with teachers and students.
4. The ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
5. A current, up-to-date CV (covering the last 10 years, with no unexplained gaps).
6. An enhanced DBS registered on the update service, or the willingness to apply for one.
