The Director – Regional Marketing leverages their experience and deep global insight to bring nCino’s innovative solutions to new and expanding markets in the assigned region. Chief responsibilities for this role include strategic planning and guidance for the implementation of globally aligned and effectively localized business strategies. Motivating and inspiring the region's Marketing team, adapting to rapid change and building confidence within the team, while growing trust are key behavioral characteristics required for success in this vital role. Creating new and improving existing processes, plus managing the changes that result in driving team performance and while increasing revenue, user acquisition and adoption, expanded partnerships and increased regional awareness for nCino. This key leadership role will oversee country marketing leads to create and maintain a “market-in” view that guides the effective development, implementation and delivery of strategic region-wide and country specific marketing plans. The Director – Regional Marketing reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and works closely with the Regional Managing Director, Regional Head of Sales, and the Global Marketing function, who are all key internal partners. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver, who has experience balancing internal and external stakeholders, and building winning teams who deliver effective campaigns with regionally appropriate approaches and tactics.

The successful candidate is an experienced international marketing leader who works with senior executives with confidence, collaborates effectively within global, matrixed teams, and knows how to drive results.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development, execution, and management of marketing plans, campaigns, and tactics at the regional and local level with the goals of growing pipeline and supporting revenue attainment.
  2. Partner with Global Market Strategy to develop a market view, and country-specific SAM & SOM models.
  3. Lead, grow and manage a high-performing marketing team, while coaching and developing team members for long-term organizational success.
  4. Drive team performance through coaching and mentoring, fostering team collaboration, team building, and influence the Marketing organization by inspiring a global perspective while building strong cross-functional relationships.
  5. Accountable for win/loss analysis and maintaining competitive landscape for regions, as well as developing and maintaining buyer experience and buyer personas for assigned geographies.
  6. Partner with the Global Marketing Centers of Excellence (COEs) to develop and deliver campaigns and initiatives that will help the regional team(s) to meet and exceed the annual KPIs.
  7. Partner with the Sales team to devise & implement a scalable and effective end-to-end lead generation process.
  8. Support sales planning, account prioritization and ensure sales and marketing alignment.
  9. Consult with internal and external experts to validate and optimize brand strategies and tactics that support regional and local objectives to strengthen the Company’s brand position in EMEA.
  10. Analyze marketing strategies, market penetration, etc. to determine ROI and inform future planning with a focus on local pipe generation. Report findings and recommendations to marketing and region leadership.
  11. Drive consistency of brand messaging across the international region, while ensuring alignment with Global strategy.
Qualifications

Required:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication, finance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 12 years' experience in marketing inclusive of 4 years in a regional marketing capacity, preferably in a high growth SaaS environment.
  3. Strong leadership skills with 4+ years of management experience leading and coaching talent.
  4. Comfortable in a fast-paced, autonomous, rapidly changing environment with experience in leading from the front to drive growth and change.
  5. Experience working at both a global or affiliate/regional marketing level.
  6. Proven track record creating and developing marketing campaigns for B2B products and solutions that drive exceptional results.
  7. Highly collaborative, thriving in a strong team environment with strong influence and presentation skills.
  8. Excellent organization and communication skills.
