Job Summary
Step into a key commercial role as Director, Prime & Financing Sales, FSS, driving growth and innovation in a key segment of Financial Markets. You’ll oversee a diverse region encompassing the UK, Middle East, and Africa, managing client relationships, and expanding our Prime & Financing (P&F) offerings. This is your chance to be at the forefront of financial services, delivering cutting-edge solutions like OTC Clearing, FX Prime Brokerage, and Fixed Income Prime Brokerage to a broad spectrum of clients.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Business Growth:

  1. Define and execute the regional strategy for P&F Sales, aligned with global objectives.
  2. Drive revenue growth by onboarding new clients, cross-selling opportunities, and increasing wallet share from existing clients.
  3. Build and maintain a robust pipeline, ensuring a mix of short-term wins and long-term strategic mandates.

Client Engagement

  1. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and tailoring solutions to deliver maximum value.
  2. Identify cross-sell opportunities within Financial Markets, collaborating closely with FM Sales and other teams.
  3. Leverage SCB’s thought leadership and capabilities to position P&F and FSS as market leaders.

Process Excellence

  1. Lead deal teams and ensure smooth client onboarding, from mandate to execution.
  2. Ensure compliance with all internal governance, regulatory, and pricing standards.
  3. Provide structured feedback to product teams, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Skills & Qualifications

Core Skills:

  1. Proven sales experience in FX Prime Brokerage and OTC Clearing (required).
  2. Strong understanding of financial markets products, including FX, IRS, and Futures.
  3. Deep knowledge of client buying behaviors and credit risk management.

Leadership & Communication

  1. Ability to inspire teams across multiple geographies.
  2. Demonstrated success in building client relationships and driving revenue growth.
  3. Adept at working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Preferred Expertise

  1. Sales experience in Prime Brokerage/Clearing Sales (preferred).
  2. Comprehensive understanding of marketing strategies and technologies.
