Oakleaf is proud to be partnering with a global industrial cleaning and environmental services business based in London in their search for a Director of Talent Development. This is a full-time permanent opportunity with regular European travel expected.

What is the role?

Our client is looking to hire an experienced and credible Talent Development professional with experience driving business performance through learning. There will be a particular focus on driving sales performance across multiple European geographies, as well as leadership development.

The role will be strategic in nature; however, the ability to “roll up your sleeves” and deliver where required is essential. The business and people plan are in place, and the final piece of the jigsaw is to create a learning strategy that dovetails into both plans.

This role will have overall responsibility for Talent, Learning, and Talent Acquisition.

Candidate profile

You will be a seasoned Talent and Learning professional who has experience at a strategic level as well as delivering learning and talent interventions. You will have broad experience across Talent, Learning, and Talent Acquisition, and understand how they all link together.

You will be inquisitive and data-driven, using objective information to support your strategic decisions. You will be an expert in creating Talent and Learning strategies to meet business requirements, increasing sales effectiveness, and driving performance.

You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and be able to navigate a dynamic and fluid international business in growth mode. Experience working with a commercial audience is essential, and experience in recruitment is desirable.
