The Role
As a Director of Satellite Communications Delivery, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Supporting our customers delivering on their missions and creating a safe and secure world. Skynet has played a critical role in connecting our front-line commands, government partners and allies. It is an important capability for ensuring UK security and prosperity.
Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for driving cohesion of activities across multiple delivery teams, functions and stakeholders to deliver outcomes. We are on a mission to transform military space communication services and Skynet for a new era, for new challenges.
Play a critical leadership role in delivering this transformation, whilst maintaining service commitments and inspiring both existing and a new generation of people and talent.
Support the promotion of our space communication capabilities, working with the Head of Programme Delivery and Director of Future Solutions to ensure we maintain the integrity of our service delivery whilst transforming our service for the future.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home. The successful candidate will be required to travel to customer and Babcock sites.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. However, the successful candidate may be required to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) for this role.
