Our client is a leading national charity dedicated to providing outstanding housing and care for people in later life. They are looking for a Director of Property and Estate Management to take the lead in shaping their property portfolio, ensuring their estate is safe, sustainable, and fit for the future. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, the Director of Property and Estates will provide strategic and operational leadership for their extensive property portfolio.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the strategic and operational management of the property and estates function.
• Ensuring properties meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and sustainability.
• Driving efficiency and innovation in estate management, facilities services, and procurement.
• Identifying new opportunities for property development, acquisitions, and disposals.
• Championing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives to improve sustainability.
• Managing a multi-disciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

• Likely to be a chartered professional with a degree in a property or construction-related discipline.
• Senior leadership experience in property, estates, or facilities management.
• A strong track record in managing large property portfolios and capital budgets.
• Expertise in health & safety, compliance, contracts, and sustainability initiatives.
• A natural leader and influencer, able to drive positive change and engage people at all levels.
