Overview
Provides leadership, direction, administration, and fiscal management for all aspects of activities supporting optimization of current practice operations, successful integration of future providers and practices via growth, and leadership of key operations programs. Accountability will include managing a portfolio of projects with strategic and operational importance to the organization, to include but not limited to, patient experience, standardized processes, revenue cycle activities, provider and staff scheduling, policy compliance, performance improvement, and growth. Will develop project work plans and related performance metrics to ensure all project activities are executed within established timelines and budgets. Provides oversight leadership to key operations programs including Primary Care and Walk-Ins. Directly supervises division and practice managers, including development of talent and high functioning teams. Responsible for leading teams to outcomes which support the advancement of BMG Strategic Plan. Possesses knowledge of Physician Group Operations and Project Goals to recommend solutions that add value and strengthen operational outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Formulates and implements policies and procedures to facilitate processes and clarify and correct procedural problems.
- Evaluate the feasibility, coordination and implementation of new or revised systems, processes and procedures, to ensure compliance with established standards and optimize operations.
- Coordinate and implement strategies that enhance the image of BMG and the community.
- Drives opportunities to increase market share and achieve growth. Identify and advance innovative, relevant, and effective operational interventions to meet the changing healthcare environment. Collaborates with Medical Staff leadership and other departments as needed regarding practices and standard operating procedures.
- Creates strong communication networks across Beebe.
- Responsible for meeting operational, financial and strategic goals. Prepare and/or oversee the preparations of budgets. Perform financial analyses. Collaborates with Revenue Cycle leadership to optimize charge capture and maximize financial returns. Assist in the development of financial, production, compensation and operational targets and models. Collaborate in the development of business, strategic, and marketing plans.
- This position reports to the Executive Director, BMG and commits to the establishment of high performing work teams within the medical group practices and the adamant expectation that all practices operate in strict accordance of the Beebe value standards.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of health care experience.
- Experience working within a clinical environment.
- Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
Credentials
Education
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Health Administration (MHA) desired.
