Are you a strategic Senior Leader looking to make a real impact? We're recruiting for a Director of Operations on behalf of a well-established housing association in South Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior leader to step into a pivotal role within a respected association that holds the Investors in People Gold award.We're looking for a Director of Operations who has:

• Extensive experience in senior leadership within housing operations
• Strong understanding of housing legislation, regulations, and best practices
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and budgets
• Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with business goals
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

As Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing housing services, asset management, and community development. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Progress, monitor, and deliver objectives related to tenant experience, growth, and decarbonisation
• Oversee housing, rent recovery, supported housing, and asset management services
• Drive improvements in operational KPIs and ensure excellent customer service
• Report to the Chief Executive and Board on performance and strategy
• Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations while fostering innovation in service delivery
• Promote inclusive tenant engagement and excellent service delivery
• Develop housing and rent recovery services to minimise rental income loss
• Improve tenant engagement and support social and economic growth in the community
• Act as Lead Safeguarding Officer to protect at-risk groups
• Lead planning and monitoring of voids, repairs, and planned works
• Ensure compliance with Welsh Government standards and regulatory requirements
• Oversee new housing developments and drive decarbonisation efforts
• Manage budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring value for money for tenants
