Connaught Education is presently working in partnership with a high achieving, independent preparatory school based in Kent which caters for pupils from the ages of 3-13. The school is currently looking to appoint a full-time, permanent, Director of Music to start in April 2025.

The school is approaching 100 years old, has a rich, broad, and varied curriculum designed to stimulate and inspire all children. The music department is thriving, and music forms a vital part of school life.

The appointed Director of Music will teach classes from Nursery to Year 8, lead school concerts, performances, and choral groups, and oversee the peripatetic staff for the music department.

The successful applicant will be an accomplished teacher of Music, with knowledge of the 11-plus for Kent, and will possess a relevant degree and QTS.
