The Director of Creative Services, EMEA & APAC will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of Creative Technologists while managing a regional book of business that includes Smartly's top customers and partnerships. You will play a key role in crafting account strategy, driving creative adoption at scale, and packaging creative offerings that deliver measurable value for our clients and drive impact.
This position requires close collaboration with key stakeholders in Customer Success as well as with the Director of Creative Services, NorAm to align regional strategies to achieve global creative impact, working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and other departments to ensure creative services & account strategies are seamlessly integrated into the broader customer experience. Your ability to develop and scale concepts and creative offerings, coupled with a data-driven strategy, will be crucial in growing Smartly's creative impact in EMEA and APAC.
As Director, Creative Services, EMEA & APAC, you will...
- Lead and manage the EMEA & APAC Creative Technologists team to deliver tailored creative solutions for top customers and partners across the region.
- Oversee and manage the regional book of business, delivering scaled creative campaigns and maintaining strong customer relationships that deliver against key revenue goals.
- Develop and execute account strategy plans that align with business goals, ensuring creative offerings are positioned to drive growth and client satisfaction.
- Package creative offerings for scaled adoption across the region, identifying opportunities to streamline services and drive a deeper understanding of creative services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success) to integrate creative offerings into broader business strategies and improve client experiences.
- Identify new creative and business opportunities within the EMEA and APAC regions by understanding market trends and customer needs, driving the development of innovative solutions.
- Scale creative solutions across top customers, ensuring repeatable, high-impact approaches that resonate across industries and regions.
- Work closely with the Director of Creative Services, NorAm, to ensure consistency and alignment in creative strategies, rate cards, and support models globally.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, leveraging data to drive decisions and optimize creative strategies to deliver quantifiable business outcomes.
- Foster and grow customer relationships, serving as a trusted creative partner and helping clients achieve their business objectives through innovative creative services.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, creative technologies, and best practices in digital advertising and creative automation.
We are looking for you if you have...
- Proven experience (10+ years) in managing creative teams and a regional book of business, with a focus on scaling creative offerings across a large customer base.
- Experience in account strategy planning and packaging creative services for scalable adoption in global markets, particularly in the EMEA and APAC regions.
- Expertise in digital advertising platforms and technologies, with strong knowledge of social media ad formats and creative automation.
- A clear understanding of integrating (AI) technology into creative support models for scaled adoption, creative efficiencies, and consistent creative delivery.
- A track record of delivering measurable business impact through creative services in a SaaS or digital advertising environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration and client success.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while optimizing processes and ensuring creative excellence.
- Demonstrated experience working closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to align creative services with broader business strategies.
- Familiarity with Smartly's platform or similar SaaS tools is a plus.
- Ability to travel across the EMEA & APAC region for meetings, conferences, and industry events as required.
- Ability to work in our London office at least 3 days a week (hybrid).
