As the Director, Content Hub Product Owner, you will be the strategic leader responsible for overseeing Bacardi Limited’s global Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Product Information Management (PIM) systems, collectively known as the "Content Hub."

ABOUT YOU

You will guide the vision, strategy, and evolution of these critical platforms, ensuring they align with Bacardi’s global marketing, digital commerce, and brand objectives. In this leadership role, you will shape the user experience, drive platform integration, and deliver innovative solutions that empower the global marketing ecosystem.

You will lead a team of cross-functional experts and external vendors to drive the ongoing optimization and expansion of the Content Hub, fostering collaboration across digital, marketing, commercial, and tech & data teams worldwide.

Strategic Leadership & Roadmap Ownership:

  • Lead the development and ownership of the Content Hub’s strategic direction, ensuring alignment with Bacardi’s global MarTech vision and digital and marketing initiatives.

  • Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle of the DAM/PIM systems, from conceptualization to continuous enhancement, balancing user needs, market trends, and evolving business priorities.

  • Manage a global product roadmap that integrates DAM/PIM functionalities, prioritizing new features, system enhancements, and platform integrations that deliver maximum business impact.

  • Lead the transformation of the Content Hub, continuously refining the user experience (UX) to ensure seamless integration with our global MarTech and digital products and lead the interaction across global teams and external partners.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Maximise the value of our key partnerships.

  • Partner with global Digital Commerce, Marketing, and MarTech and Data leaders to ensure the Content Hub is delivering on objectives, enhancing customer experience, and supporting global brand strategies.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership (including the Digital Council and global business units) to secure funding and support for architectural improvements, new initiatives, and digital transformation goals.

  • Align with legal and compliance, master data teams and enterprise architects to ensure all content assets meet corporate standards and regulatory requirements, safeguarding trademark and copyright integrity.

  • Foster strong relationships with external vendors, creative agencies, and platform partners to ensure the effective integration and ongoing evolution of the DAM/PIM systems.

Operational Excellence & Governance:

  • Oversee content governance by developing and executing comprehensive strategies and workflows to ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance across all platforms.

  • Govern product integration strategies in alignment with the MarTech Vision and goals.

  • Implement robust performance tracking systems and metrics, driving data-driven insights to inform future decisions and optimise system usage.

  • Manage budget allocations for external vendors, system improvements, and ongoing operations, ensuring fiscal responsibility while driving continuous platform value.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive innovation in our DAM/PIM with emerging technology, remaining at the forefront of emerging trends and best practices in content management systems.

Implement the AI roadmap for creative excellence:

  • Partner with Open Innovation teams to champion test use cases.

  • Champion optimisation initiatives based on user feedback, performance analytics, and market dynamics, ensuring the platform remains a critical enabler of Bacardi’s global marketing success.

  • Convey Information to: Senior Leadership, Global Brands, Digital Commerce, Marketing Teams, Commercial Teams.

  • Adapt and Exchange: Global and local Brand Teams, Legal, Compliance, and Corporate Communications.

  • Influence Tech, Marketing Performance, and Digital Commerce leadership.

  • Negotiate with: Enterprise and digital architects, and key stakeholders across functional teams.

External Relationships:

  • Liaise, manage and brief: Global and local agencies, external platform vendors, suppliers.

  • Adapt and Exchange: Media and creative agencies, tech partners.

  • Influence: External agencies, vendors and suppliers to ensure effective integration and partnership alignment.

  • Negotiate with: External partners and vendors to secure contracts and ensure optimal platform performance.

Key Experiences and Qualifications for Success:

To be successful in this senior leadership role, you will bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in MarTech product management, digital operations, or a related senior role, with a proven track record of leading large-scale digital asset and content management platforms (DAM/PIM).

  • Extensive expertise in DAM/PIM and content syndication systems, including experience with platforms like Bynder, InRiver, Brandbank, Salsify or similar tools.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in driving digital transformation initiatives within complex, global environments, ideally within the consumer goods or FMCG sector.

  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of digital commerce, marketing operations, and data management.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders at all levels, and navigate complex organizational structures.

  • Proven ability to manage large budgets and teams effectively, driving cost-efficiency while achieving high-impact outcomes.

  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish) is a plus.

  • Impactful alignment with global digital, marketing, and commerce objectives, contributing directly to Bacardi’s top-line growth.

  • Delivery of Digital Shelf goals including consistent and compliant execution across digital commerce retailers and wholesalers.

  • Operational excellence and sustained platform performance, with continuous improvements based on user feedback and usage metrics.

  • Strong vendor and partner relationships that drive innovation and maximize the value of external collaborations.

  • Effective budget management that drives superior outcomes while maintaining fiscal discipline.
