As a Client Relationship Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the long-term commercial success of Liberty Blume. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you will manage some of our most important clients. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute comprehensive business development and long-term client account plans, with the objective of driving profitable revenue growth for Liberty Blume, whilst maintaining the satisfaction of the client and being the face of the client into Liberty Blume and vice versa. You will be the main point of contact between the client and the company, working to understand client needs, providing solutions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products or services. Your role will be focused on maintaining and nurturing relationships with our clients to ensure their satisfaction, loyalty, and continued business. In this capacity, you will hold full accountability for the future revenue growth and satisfaction of your client portfolio.
What will you be doing?
- Strategic Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
- Client Satisfaction & Retention: Ensure clients are satisfied with the services/products provided and address any concerns or issues that arise. This role is critical for retaining clients and minimizing churn.
- Project Management & Coordination: Manage the delivery of services or products to clients, coordinating with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, operations) to ensure client needs are met on time and within budget.
- Problem Solving & Issue Resolution: Address client concerns, troubleshoot problems, and work proactively to resolve any issues in a timely manner.
- Sales Growth and Upselling: Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services to clients, ensuring that they’re aware of other offerings that could benefit them.
- Client Advocacy: Act as the client's advocate within the organization, ensuring their needs are communicated and addressed effectively by other departments.
- Client Performance & Reporting: Monitor and report on the client’s use of services or products, providing regular updates and recommendations for improvements based on client performance.
- Contract and Budget Management: Ensure that agreements, budgets, and timelines are adhered to, managing renewals, and negotiating contracts when necessary.
- Risk Management: Identify any risks or issues that may impact the client relationship, developing strategies to mitigate risks and prevent client dissatisfaction.
- Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and other teams to align efforts and deliver the best outcomes for clients, providing feedback to internal teams about client needs and expectations and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve client challenges and provide tailored solutions.
We tend to look for people with:
- Proven track record of relationship/account management in a business to business environment, showing extensive client relationship expertise.
- Experience in building account plans with long-term revenue potential, aligned to the core product set of the business, with a focus on client growth and retention.
- Proven success in identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Ability to make informed decisions that benefit both the client and the business, balancing client satisfaction with company goals.
- Established experience of working in a complex corporate environment.
- A deep understanding of the industry (and products) in which Liberty Blume operates and how that impacts client needs.
- Ability to build, manage, and motivate multi-channel lines of business and virtual teams.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with a wide client stakeholder group.
- Strategic thinking and problem solving in a dynamic business development environment, with the ability to resolve conflict and issues.
- Ability to cope with pressure and demanding timescales without compromising quality.
