Working hours: This role is available on a part-time, job-share or full-time basis.

Location: Hybrid – Minimum of 3 days in Chichester Office during training, option to reduce to 2 longer term - Please note that the office is not accessible by public transport.

Salary: £25,000+ dependant on experience and qualifications.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Digital Trading Underwriter, you'll play a crucial role in onboarding new clients and supporting existing ones with mid-term changes and renewals. Your expertise will be key in assessing risks, determining appropriate coverage, and ensuring our clients receive top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Put good customer outcomes at the heart of every decision.
• Help your team hit customer satisfaction targets for all prospective, new, and existing customers.
• Achieve key growth and retention targets.
• Take ownership of customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Analyse and interpret underwriting data to make informed decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Provide underwriting support and guidance to less experienced colleagues.

• Proven Underwriting Experience: A solid background in underwriting, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Proactive and Deadline-Driven: Manage time effectively and meet process timeframes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Underwriting Experience: Solid understanding of risk assessment and insurance principles.
• Professional Qualifications: Certificate in Insurance, Diploma in Insurance, or similar qualifications are highly desirable.
• Tech-Savvy: Experience using Acturis highly desirable, proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel required.
• Insurance Product Knowledge: Strong familiarity with a range of insurance products.
