Job description

This role is part of our Personalized Content team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Walmart, and more!

JOB PURPOSE

In this role you will develop strategic market recommendations for a range of clients as part of an enterprising new business plan.

As a Digital Strategist you are the foundation of any creative project and provide the team with insights, gleaned from market research and by truly getting to know a client’s brand and objectives. Your curious nature and analytical mind mean you build plans that go beyond a single project and are constantly looking to the future.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Create end-to-end digital marketing strategies following the DEPT Planning Methodology.
  2. Research products, services and current strategies to identify new opportunities.
  3. Analyse and interpret research and reporting; and use this information to inform and improve strategies.
  4. Ensure plans fit client goals, are optimized for multiple audiences, push to desired action and are tested and measured effectively.
  5. Support on New Business efforts through research and insights.
  6. This is a client-facing role supporting key accounts; the ideal candidate must be able to create convincing propositions, present strategy to clients and help Account and Creative teams plan, optimize, implement and test and measure.
  7. Take client briefs; you will work hand in hand with Account Managers to cascade to the wider team and provide the ideal environment for creative development.
  8. This is an omni-channel digital role covering email, web, display and social, but the core focus will be CRM, so an in-depth understanding of email marketing is essential.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  1. Demonstrable experience in a similar role with proven success.
  2. An understanding of how to turn business goals into actionable marketing goals.
  3. Knowledge of how to use data and insight to create profiles and personas.
  4. Experience of creating and optimising user journeys, including automated journeys is desirable but not essential.
  5. An understanding of how to interpret data to improve results.
  6. Channel expertise in email, web, display and social; with an emphasis on innovation and possibility.
  7. Understanding of A/B and multivariate testing methodologies.
  8. Understanding of and ability to articulate best practice in digital marketing.
  9. Excellent presentation skills.
  10. Natural problem solver.
  11. Excellent written and communication skills as this is a client-facing role.
  12. Inquisitive nature to learn and understand how things work.
