We are looking for a Digital Product Owner who will join our Technology team on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will work with a multi-functional squad spanning many crafts and supporting all personal lines products across the group. You will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting our digital adoption objectives and ongoing cross-business coordination of changes. You will drive transformation of our core digital capabilities, leading innovation, streamlining journeys, and delivering a seamless customer experience.

This is a hybrid role with two working days a week from our Bristol office.

What you will do:

  1. Create an aligned and compelling vision & communicable roadmap for the product based on the organisational strategy.
  2. Own the backlog, ensuring it is ruthlessly prioritised by value and clearly communicates the prioritised valuable outcomes.
  3. Ensure team priorities are clear each quarter, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, and a seamless customer experience.
  4. Drive Digital Adoption across the group, ensuring all products and areas align roadmaps and deliverables to achieve the group's 50% online adoption target.
  5. Work closely with senior stakeholders to align product vision and team activities with the overall Online Adoption strategy.
  6. Make critical decisions, challenging existing ways of working to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  7. Create business cases, secure support and funding for new initiatives, maintain delivery pace, and ensure ROI while delivering good customer outcomes.
  8. Challenge business owners’ mindsets to ensure group objectives are met effectively.
  9. Identify and mitigate risks in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
  10. Provide expert change delivery insights to support prioritisation and ongoing optimisation.
  11. Support strategy development to align delivery with product vision while protecting indemnity.
  12. Drive the enhancement of existing and emerging technologies to improve online solutions.

What skills and qualities you will need:

  • Proven expertise in Digital Product, with end-to-end process knowledge from conception to delivery.
  • Ability to facilitate diverse stakeholders to encourage cross-discipline collaboration to achieve business goals and overcome organisational challenges to ensure value delivery.
  • Very strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including the delivery of contrary or unpopular information to leaders.
  • Strong commercial awareness to support strategic decision-making.
  • Analytical mindset, using root cause data analysis to identify and resolve complex problems.
  • Regulatory and risk awareness, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
