We’re hiring for a publisher hosting a small portfolio of long-standing websites. Primarily, they provide information and assistance to the public about a variety of different topics predominantly related to travel. Empowered by a hands-off board of Directors, this opportunity will excite someone who thrives in a start-up environment without their own personal capital risk. You’ll inherit a series of websites with strong commercial history, taking them into their next phase of growth.
Reporting to the Board and their Consultant, as the Digital Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing, implementing and managing the overall strategy and roadmap for these travel brands. This will include the continual improvement of the website, building out its core functionality to optimise customer journeys. Driven by data and results, you’ll measure key performance metrics across all channels and grow the website traffic with constant analysis and optimisation.
Working closely with the Board’s Consultant, you will create an actionable marketing roadmap across organic, affiliate marketing, SEO, Content Marketing, PPC, PR, Display Ads and eMail Marketing utilising resources from your existing team of employed, freelance and agency support to see growth across all areas.
Embracing your hands-on attitude, you’ll also be a strategic thinker able to motivate your team to generate the best results and achieve targets. Self-driven, you’ll confidently work autonomously, steering your team to deliver the best results.
It’s essential you bring outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to this remote working role. You’ll also instill confidence with your commercial insights, effectively manage stakeholders and provide regular reporting to the Board. You’ll also foster good relations with company partners (direct or affiliate) to increase sales and commissions.
Accustomed to working remotely since the pandemic, the team are all in the UK working from home. It’s essential you are in the UK, with permit to work in place already.
Recognising this position directly impacts revenue, there is potential for a profit-share agreement for the right candidate in addition to a basic salary of up to £50,000.
