About The Role:

The Digital & Social Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, development, management, support and maintenance of all digital channels and customer touchpoints. You will provide insight to develop key initiatives to drive greater engagement, loyalty and guest frequency. These should be driven by key consumer trends, brand and market insight data, so we are continuously driving marketing performance across our restaurants, kiosk brands, pre-packed brands and channels, whilst protecting & growing our brand value for our partners and customers.

You will deliver optimised targeted and personalised content across digital channels that will facilitate and elevate customers’ experiences and deepen brand affinity. You will work closely with the Senior Growth & Digital Manager on the creation and development of the CRM strategy using a creative approach to secure and manage target audiences whilst delivering results driven campaigns and communication. The Digital & Social Marketing Manager is ultimately responsible for campaigns, from digital conceptualization through to post-event analysis utilising strategic media targeting, analysing campaign results and feeding insight back into future campaigns and consumer audience profiles.

You’ll be a marketing enthusiast constantly driving forward and working collaboratively to achieve company and brand growth goals. You’ll always be full of ideas, creating and delivering innovative digital marketing activity to increase the profile and awareness of our brands. The role will focus heavily on acquisition and retention of customers across our multi-brand, multi-channel, multi-format business. You’ll execute the digital marketing strategy for each of our brands including; marketing campaigns, new product marketing, tactical activity, influencer activity, communications and events, working on strategic projects in line with the business demands driving commercial growth.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Day to day management of all digital channels including website, social media, CRM and email marketing, paid media and digital signage
  • Digital delivery of all marketing campaigns including evaluation of results across all channels
  • Management of digital content calendar for all channels including regular posting schedule to reach and engage our target audience, delivering results converting into guests in-store
  • Social listening and reporting on what users are saying about our brands online
  • Line management of the Community Relations team who respond and engage with users on social
  • Work with Brand Marketing team to deliver targeted/personalised digital campaigns
  • Work with Senior Growth & Digital Manager on the ongoing management, design and user experience of all our group brands’ websites
  • Ensure the business is GDPR compliant from a customer data perspective, delivering any actions or process changes required on an ongoing basis
  • Responsible for the growth and engagement of our database and social following
  • Maximise social listings and creating SEO strategy ensuring optimised and reviewing regularly
  • Monthly reporting to showcase growth & results across all digital channels including performance and trends. This includes reviewing the success of posts, ads, website traffic and e-mail open rate across channels taking learnings from these to apply to future content
  • Managing our digital partners and agencies, maximising these relationships and ensuring they are delivering their statements of work
  • Work with the digital media agency to maximise paid ads, PPC and audience reach results, ensuring all campaigns and brand activities are measured and feeding these learnings into future activities
  • Report on digital performance and highlight ROI and company opportunities in collaboration with digital media agencies
  • Responsible for leading the implementation and ongoing management of our CRM system including building email campaigns and automated email programs
  • Work with Senior Growth & Digital Manager on planning CRM strategies across the group brands including customer segmentation, encouraging customer retention and customer loyalty

Ideally, You’ll already have the following key Behaviours:

  • You’re a foodie, up-to-date on current trends with a passion for world food and wellness as well as Japanese and Pan-Asian cuisine which is the heart of our business
  • Strong planning skills; excellent attention to detail, thoroughness and accuracy
  • You will be commercial as well as creative with a passion for driving brand value for all
  • A demonstrated passion for technology with a desire to develop, build knowledge and grow career
  • You’ll be used to stakeholder management and able to plan your time and deliver under pressure, working autonomously on multiple projects

Ideally, you’ll already have the following Key Experience:

  • You will need a minimum of five years’ experience in digital marketing, CRM and social media
  • Experience in developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns and running of loyalty programmes
  • You will be highly computer literate and digitally connected, a social media enthusiast who’s passionate about content creation
  • Experience within food retail would be preferable but not essential if you have a passion for food
  • Ideally you will already have had some demonstrable experience building actionable programs to drive acquisition and retention
  • Experience of omnichannel digital capabilities and 360 view of the customer
  • A natural self-starter who is always on the lookout for new trends and actionable insights to improve our products and brands, so we always remain relevant

Strong communication skills and experience working collaboratively with non-digital teams such as marketing, communications, legal and IT.
