Join our Marketing team as a Digital Marketing Technology Manager!

Location: DHL Express Southern Hub, Colnbrook

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • The Marketing Technology Digital Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in establishing a centre of excellence for digital measurement and reporting across digital sales, online interactions driving in-store sales, Customer Service sales, and lead generation across global and local websites.
  • You will help improve the efficiency of marketing operations, provide valuable insights through data analysis, enhance customer engagement through personalised marketing strategies and ultimately drive business growth.
  • You will be responsible for gathering and refining websites’ specifications and requirements based on technical and user experience needs from countries marketing teams, as well supporting with their deployment and testing.
  • You will provide measurement support and expertise to digital marketing teams across various markets within DHL Express, with the goal of driving short-term sales acquisition from non-account customers.
  • Setting up measurement and reporting on the current performance of digital marketing activities across multiple markets.
  • Establishing and implementing a best-in-class consistent measurement framework.
  • Collecting, organising, and maintaining large sets of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
  • Creating and delivering clear, concise, and visually compelling reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Looker Studio.
  • Measuring Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS), Cost Per Conversion (CPC), Cost Per Lead (CPL) and similar metrics.
  • Setting up and providing various dashboards and reports to management and European markets.
  • Analysing websites and campaigns’ performance data to derive actionable insights.
  • Maintaining robust data integrity and accuracy, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Looking for new opportunities focused on revenue growth, loyalty and a better customer experience through marketing automation solutions.
  • Discovering audiences through web analytics.
  • Extracting information from Data Layer for use in reporting and media optimisation.
  • Acting as a digital measurement consultant and coach.
  • Working closely with country marketing teams and Digital Sales teams.
  • Development and adoption of the best-in-class measurement framework across European countries.
  • Successful implementation and measurement of marketing campaigns.

Your Profile - Skillsets and Attributes

  • 5-6+ years of experience in marketing analytics, performance measurement, or related roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in digital marketing, such as Web Analytics, Google Ads or SEO certifications, would be advantageous.
  • User Experience qualification – preferred but not essential.
  • Proficient in English; proficiency in additional European languages is an advantage.
  • Experience with Consent Management Platforms.
  • Experience with website content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, web analytics platforms, and tag management systems.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and extracting information from Data Layer.
  • Proficiency in working with data visualisation tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Advanced knowledge of digital marketing channels and strategies.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and lead management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Results driven, experienced individual that can reliably meet goals & deadlines.
