Job description

At Care South we are recruiting for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our Head Office team in Poole, BH14 0HU.

  • Full time - permanent opportunity, at least 3 days a week at Head Office
  • Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum plus car allowance

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & PR - this role will take ownership of the digital platforms ensuring the highest standard of presentation, functionality & visibility.

This role will be ideal for a passionate digital Guru who can showcase the great care we provide residents and clients in our care - effectively identifying and reaching the right audiences to drive enquiries.


Key platforms include:

  • Website (currently WordPress)
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn

Typically, the role will include and therefore candidates will be able to evidence successful experience of:

  • Lead generation, SEO, PPC, Google Ads and maximising online visibility
  • Demonstrable experience of campaigns which drive quality enquiries
  • Acting as project lead on developing a best-in-class website
  • A keen interest in and aptitude for data and insights, with the ability to crunch numbers and provide easy to understand insights to the wider team including Google Analytics and social platforms
  • Proven success with Facebook/Instagram/Google advertising campaigns
  • Development and ownership of sophisticated customer Email/Marketing automation platforms
  • Ability to produce creative suitable for online use, plan & execute split testing
  • Ownership of online ‘content’ such as news stories, ensuring the website and social channels are up to date, including copywriting
  • Working knowledge of GDPR, data protection and privacy rules particularly with a focus on marketing requirements and liabilities
  • Provide input into the yearly marketing plans and calendar planning, and assist in the delivery of timely, tested and effective campaigns following those plans.
  • The ability to plan and prioritise a varied workload as well as run multiple projects simultaneously
  • Confident and credible communication and relationship management skills
