Digital Marketing Assistant

Description

Are you a savvy junior marketer wanting to get into the entertainment industry, or ready to take your next step? Do you have excellent writing skills and know your way around social media?

Spanning both the film and music industries, Trafalgar Releasing is a market leader in the fast-growing event cinema world. Working with some of the biggest names in entertainment, such as BTS, Coldplay, Billie Eilish, Neil Young, and Pink Floyd to name just a few, we are at the heart of an exciting sector connecting fans around the globe through worldwide cinema events. Trafalgar Releasing is a subsidiary of Trafalgar Entertainment.

We are searching for a new Digital Marketing Assistant to join our team, with a particular focus on social media and digital marketing. We're looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to write compellingly in an adaptable tone of voice to suit each project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Writing compelling email and social copy (paid + organic) for Trafalgar Releasing events, adhering to established tone set by client channels.
  2. Creating social media calendars for events, engaging with relevant stakeholders and supporting the creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns across various platforms.
  3. Digital media agency briefing and ongoing communications regarding campaign updates.
  4. Maintaining the Trafalgar Releasing corporate website and social channels including copywriting, social posts and responding to followers.
  5. Helping execute email marketing campaigns, including tracking performance and reporting.
  6. Aiding in the development and ongoing maintenance of film websites, ensuring content accuracy.
  7. Assisting Digital Marketing Manager in tracking website statistics and sharing data with key stakeholders.
  8. Contributing to additional digital marketing projects as required, offering analytical and administrative support.
  9. Keeping up-to-date with social media platforms and marketing industry changes.
  10. Willingness to work across various time zones.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:

Desirable:

  1. Degree level qualification
  2. Previous experience in office administrative / junior marketing role
  3. Working knowledge of Excel and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
  4. Familiarity with Hubspot or other CRM platform
  5. Passion for entertainment industry / movies / music

Essential:

  1. Exceptional attention to detail and fantastic organisation skills
  2. Detailed understanding of Social Media and its role in marketing
  3. Creative writing skills
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Ability to multi-task
  6. Strong analytical and research skills
  7. Strong IT skills and experience
