Job description

Job title: Digital Estate & Technology Team Leader

Location: Samlesbury. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements

Salary: £54,793+ dependant on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will be leading one of our Digital Estate & Technology teams, who are responsible for providing our Investment Projects team with feasibility schemes in 2D / 3D, BIM support and guidance, ensuring that our legislative and business critical drawing records are kept up to date and delivering leading digital information technology to the wider department.
  • Carrying out day-to-day delegation of tasks and facilitation of workload including the deployment of the systems, policies, processes and standards the team needs to be aware of and work towards.
  • Providing general guidance on work related queries, co-ordination of business reporting requirements, providing support to the local manager in relation to resourcing, budgetary requirements and performance management.
  • Interfacing daily with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Your skills and experiences:

  • A strong verbal communicator who is able to influence others and report effectively.
  • An ability to lead by example, and motivate a team to ensure all deliverables are achieved to the required quality, cost, and timeframe.
  • Proven 2D and 3D CAD experience in the Built Environment, with strong experience in packages such as Bentley MicroStation, Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety as well as workplace and building related regulations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO19650 inc. Common Data Environments.

Desirable:

  • Previous knowledge and understanding of Point Cloud Scanning, Document Management Systems such as Bentley ProjectWise / AutoDesk Vault, Atlassian Confluence.
  • Professional Registration (e.g. IET, RIBA, CIAT) or willing to work towards.

The Digital Estate and Technology Team:

The team is responsible for looking after the digital records of the facilities and estates for the Company and the implementation of innovative technology within the built environment.
