Job Title: Analogue and Digital Electronic Design Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (+£2,500 Bonus)

Location: Stevenage (Hybrid)

Our client, a leader in advanced technology, is seeking a talented and ambitious Electronics Design Engineer to join their Analogue and Digital Capability Group in Stevenage. Here, you’ll play a key part in developing and delivering exceptional electronic designs, contributing to the creation of sophisticated, cutting-edge products.

Work Model: Hybrid, typically 2 to 3 days per week on-site (due to project requirements)

Role Overview

This is a rare opportunity to dive into all aspects of board-level electronic design, including:

• Schematic capture and prototyping
• Functional testing and proving activities
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to seamlessly integrate electronics within products

Additionally, you will employ common development techniques such as circuit simulation and DFMEA to ensure robustness throughout the product lifecycle, from feasibility to production transfer. Your contributions will also include industrial validation and quality assurance to uphold our client's high standards of engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute electronic design and prototyping at board level.
• Conduct rigorous functional testing to ensure electronic components meet specifications.
• Apply circuit simulation techniques for reliability and effectiveness in design.
• Use Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to maintain a high standard of safety and functionality.
• Oversee the complete product life cycle, ensuring smooth transfer to production, quality assurance, and industrial validation.
• Engage in research and continuous improvement initiatives to elevate electronic engineering capabilities.
