Hiring: 2 x Digital Editors for Channel 4 Branded Documentaries

About the Role

ZANDLAND is seeking two experienced Digital Editors to join our team and edit a three-part Channel 4 branded documentary series. This is a fast-paced role requiring expertise in both offline and online editing using Adobe Premiere Pro.

We are looking for self-starting editors who can deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines, particularly those with experience working on Channel 4 Digital content or similar branded series. This is not an entry-level position, and only candidates with relevant, proven experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborating with the production team to edit three branded episodes to meet client specifications and deadlines.
2. Creating additional deliverables to the main hero episodes, including social media cutdowns optimized for different platforms.
3. Online editing, including colour grading, audio dubbing, incorporating branded graphics (GFX), and creating additional graphical assets where required.
4. Preparing and delivering AS-11 compliant files for streaming and broadcast standards.

Essential Skills and Experience

1. Proven experience in editing digital content, especially branded or documentary formats.
2. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (offline and online editing workflows).
3. Strong understanding of colour grading, audio post-production, and graphic integration.
4. Experience working with Channel 4 Digital content or similar is highly desirable.

Availability

Start dates:
Editor 1: Expected to begin on 3rd February, running for approximately 8 weeks.
Editor 2: Expected to begin on 10th February, running for approximately 7 weeks.
Some ad-hoc days may also be required for specific deliverables.
