Qatar Airways have embarked on an exciting transformation journey to change how we interact with our customers. As part of this journey, we are now recruiting for the role of Digital Direct Manager Europe.
Based in London, this role will support our European markets. You will manage the planning and execution of Digital Direct activities within the Region taking a leading role in positioning QR.com as the customer's preferred booking channel by continually optimising our owned channels and paid media investments.
Reporting to the Manager Digital & Marketing, you will ensure long-term revenue growth of the online direct channel managing a team of high-performing digital officers based in London and throughout Europe.
Specific Accountabilities include:
• Work with Manager Digital and Marketing and Regional Team to develop a strategy aimed at serving preferential content, fares, products and features to make QR.com and mobile the customers' preferred booking channel.
• Analyse consumer demand and behaviour, identifying opportunities that will help inform campaigns, influence campaign conversion rates and sales, and drive profitability for the direct channel.
• Continually seek to optimise regional media investments and strategies into best performing channels, sharing knowledge with the wider European teams to achieve regional revenue and penetration targets within the agreed cost of sale.
• Identify and leverage exclusive promotions across leisure and Corporate segments via new partnerships, aimed at increasing online revenue and optimising throughout.
• Lead the European Digital Direct team, ensuring that local market investments are aligned with best practice, and provide regular tracking and reports to the leadership teams in the Regions and Head Office.
• Keep abreast with the latest products and technologies available in the digital marketing & travel industry and suggest implementation of new features, enhancements, products and content.
• Develop and cascade best practices of Digital Direct processes with various stakeholders across Europe and Globally
• Work in close cooperation with Digital Direct internal stakeholders, Regional/Commercial Marketing and Global Digital Marketing, and CBI counterparts to build solid working groups with a cross-departmental approach aimed at driving commercial and marketing performance.
• Work in close cooperation with Loyalty and CRM teams to Increase FFP penetration and develop strategy to enhance customer experience for loyal members through digital direct channels.

Qualifications

Requirements:
• Must have experience strong experience working with analytics platforms, with strong data acumen and ability to visualise findings.
• Direct Online Marketing and ecommerce marketing experience
• Experience as a digital sales guru who understands consumer behaviour and can drive online engagement
• Previous positions in a managerial Marketing role is required.
• Successful history of developing, and implementing digital strategies that drive ecommerce website activity and ROI
• Strong ability to measure data and translate insights into innovative digital tactics
• Motivated to work in an accelerated environment of digital growth and transformation
