Job Title: Digital Designer Email design

Location: Brighton, East Sussex

Length: 6 months

Type: Temporary, Hybrid position

Pay: GBP120 - GBP150 per day via Umbrella Company (Inside IR35)

To note, you will need to present a portfolio of work, and DBS checks will be carried out for this position.

Fantastic opportunity for a Digital Designer to join our client in private healthcare for a 6-month temporary position.

You will have a minimum of 3 years of Email design experience, with a strong working knowledge of HTML/CRM (Hubspot and Email Studio).

Sitting within the wider Product and Marketing team, you will be supporting the Studio's digital design projects, including customer communications and engagement, as well as driving activity campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of creative and innovative digital solutions and BAU content design that supports our growth/retention ambitions and the wider business strategy.
  • Work with the wider design team to champion the convergence of online and offline offerings to ensure the business can deliver the end-user a seamless customer journey.
  • Research the industry to stay on top of technological, cultural, and design trend developments.
  • Uphold brand standards and brand compliance by ensuring all digital output complies with BG and partner brand guidelines.
  • Proactively look for new ways to make improvements to the Studio production process and workflow to ensure it runs as effectively as possible, and be ready to pitch these ideas to the Lead Designer for investment.

What we are looking for

  • Junior - Middle weight email designer with 3 years of experience in digital design, agency or in-house, must have demonstrable email design experience.
  • Intermediate level in Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Illustrator, Photoshop) and HTML/CSS.
  • A good working knowledge of digital design practices for web, email, and social media.
  • A good understanding of composition, colour, typography, illustration, photography, and layout.
  • Experience of interpreting complex briefs and brand guidelines is desirable.
  • Experience of working within a commercial setting and designing for both a B2C and B2B audience.
