Digital Designer

Ascend Media is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Digital Designer to bring creative concepts to life across our prestigious lifestyle brands, including Elite Traveler, World of Fine Wine, and Spear’s.

This exciting role is ideal for someone who thrives on bringing creative concepts to life and operationalising style principles across diverse digital outputs as the company embarks on an exciting transformation. The Digital Designer will play a crucial role in delivering engaging, high-quality designs that enhance our brand prestige, ensuring consistency across platforms and attracting top-tier advertisers.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop high impact, engaging digital designs that strengthen our brand and captivate premium advertisers.
• Ensure a cohesive visual identity across all platforms, working closely with the Chief Brand Officer and Design Lead.
• Work with editorial, marketing, and sales teams to align designs with business goals and audience engagement.
• Stay ahead of digital design trends, experimenting with new tools and techniques to create cutting-edge visual content.
• Oversee multiple design projects, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising on quality.

Skills and experience:

• Experience in digital design, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and digital layout principles.
• Experience working within brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and innovation.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to stakeholders.
• Collaborative and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
