Job Description:
The Grant Thornton Digital Audit Team provides best in class digital products, services and skills to enable the auditors of the future to set the industry benchmark for professional services firms, leveraging digital, data and technology opportunities to be the number one practice for audit quality, client service and operational excellence.
The Digital Audit Training Hub Senior Manager is responsible for leading the digital learning infrastructure of the audit practice.
A look into the role
As a Senior Manager leading our Training Hub, you will:
- Create, curate, and evolve our training resources, by working closely with Digital Audit Team, Audit Learning Team, and wider Learning Innovation Team to provide top quality learning materials to auditors that have digital embedded throughout.
- Build and maintain an effective working relationship with Learning Innovation Team (especially the Digital Learning Lead and Audit Learning Lead) and Audit Professional Services, and collaborate to ensure that digital learning for the audit practice is aligned to professional standards, the latest trends & technologies in addition to the Digital Audit Team’s products and services.
- Collaborate with Learning Innovation Team to facilitate the use of their instructional design best practices, AI tools, graphic design, and video production skills to produce digital audit training that is engaging, inclusive, and accessible; available in a variety of formats and platforms; and delivered via a combination of media.
- Liaise with various senior-level audiences, driving digital proficiency across the audit practice.
- Manage content lifecycle & governance to ensure our digital audit learning remains relevant, effective, and compliant with Continuing Professional Development requirements.
- Leverage data-driven insights to continuously optimise digital audit learning content and make informed decisions about future development and updates.
- Support the Audit Learning Team to deliver the agreed annual Audit Learning Plan and ensure that digital learning for the practice is seamlessly embedded in the Audit Learning Strategy.
- Be the designated point of contact for providing input and subject matter expertise from the Digital Audit Team, coordinating the delivery of all digital audit training requests including (but not limited to) annual audit training, new hire training, and specific requests.
- Collaborate with Digital Audit Team colleagues to ensure knowledge, communications, and training are comprehensive, up-to-date, and relevant for the audit practice.
- Support Digital Audit Team colleagues in ensuring audit teams have access to excellent self-serve knowledge, resources, and support to deliver high quality, efficient, valuable statutory audits by using digital products and services.
- Take on extra responsibilities, as required, to ensure the realisation of the Digital Audit Team’s strategy and goals.
